Khaos Control contains certain "core" modules that all of our customers use such as sales order processing or stock control, and various options are available as standard that control the appearance and behaviour of these screens. For example, you may wish to hide certain screens that are not used in your company, change the order processing workflow (e.g., do we charge cards before or after picking orders?), or alter the layout of the invoice. These are all tasks we find most new customers need to carry out, and so the standard system allows you to configure these common areas yourself.

However, if more in-depth changes are needed, we can also make changes specifically for our customers, either changing existing behaviour, or adding completely new modules to the system. In this case, customisation could be made that tailored screens specifically to your exact requirements. If items are identified before installation, then one of our project managers will discuss your requirements and produce a customisation plan describing what changes are required, and how they affect your training and go-live schedule. You may also discover after using the system for a while that workflow efficiency could be improved by adding new features, in which case, you would contact our development manager to discuss the changes that could be made. In both instances, we would produce a development estimate detailing the changes and the work involved, and if you confirmed these details, the development would proceed.

In all cases, customisation is delivered via the normal update procedure. Updates are downloaded from our website via the internet. You may wish to vet changes before applying them to your live system, in which case when we install your system, a test system can also be set up which allows you to verify the modifications.
