High Street Retailers under pressure

High Street retailers are seeing the low-cost direct web/e-commerce channel as an opportunity to supplement their declining income from their bricks-and-mortar outlets that have come under increasing downward pressure as a result of the global credit crunch.

A major High Street retailer, with over 170 stores, well-known in large city shopping malls, has selected Khaos Control for their order processing needs. Khaos Control will integrate with their rapidly-growing web channel (about to be re-launched), efficiently sucking down new sales orders and processing them through pick, pack and despatch, and in so doing producing courier labels and gift message cards, sending emails and confirming credit card charges. And when the dust has settled Khaos Control will be updating the existing in-house merchandising and financial systems with stock, sales and returns data.

We are working alongside one of the biggest PLC's in the UK that is providing consultancy, integration, communications and infrastructure services and web design resources on the project. The names of the customer and partner will be announced once the new site has been launched, so please watch this space.
