The Perfume Shop Christmas Advertising Campaign 08

The Perfume Shop, www.theperfumeshop.com , the UK's largest Fragrance only retailer, will be advertising on mainstream TV for the first time with product focused advertising designed to encourage sales as well as longer term awareness of the brand amongst customers.

The campaign starts on 26 November, and will feature on TV channels such as ITV/Channel 4/Five/G.O.L.D/Living/MTV/Dave and UK Style during great TV shows such as "I'm a Celebrity Get me Out of Here" on ITV and XFactor, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Only Fools and Horses and CSI Miami.

The campaign will also run across radio, press and in-store in the run up to Christmas.

Trading since 1992, The Perfume Shop was acquired by the world’s largest health and beauty retailer in 2003, the worldwide A.S.Watson group, which in turn has increased its prominence in the beauty industry in the retail sector. A. S. Watson operates over 8,200 retail outlets worldwide and employs over 87,000 people.

Now numbering over 170 shops throughout the UK and Eire, and recognising it was not tapping the full potential the Internet has to offer, TPS recently launched a brand new web site just in time for Christmas 2008.

The Perfume Shop have commissioned us to install Khaos Control in the back office to handle pick-pack-despatch, customer services, stock control, courier integration and web integration. In particular, we will be handling & printing gift card messages.

The web site has been developed by BT Plc's specialist web division BT Fresca, itself a division of BT Expedite. There has been significant co-operation between TPS, KSD and BTF to produce close integration between the systems, in time for the launch. You can find out more about BT Fresca at www.btfresca.com
