Introducing some New Members of our Ecommerce Team

Introducing-Some-New-Members-Of-Our-Ecommerce-Team

As many of you will know, over the course of the last 18 months the Khaos family has been expanding rapidly due to our continued growth. As a result we are pleased to introduce a group of new employees within the Complete Commerce team. In order to properly introduce them we had a chat with each of them and submitted them to a photoshoot. Read on to find out all about them.

Robert White – Web Engineer

Rob managed to escape our clutches when we were taking the portraits, but you’lll notice he’s the lad with the unruly hair at the front of the group!

Khaos Congtrol Solutions (KCS): What previous work (or other) experiences have helped in your new role at Khaos Control?
Robert: My first role was with Capgemini and for the first 3 months I was with them I was based in Wolverhampton on a QA programming course, although a lot of the course was covering familiar topics, it was extremely useful to be able to speak at length with the coding mentors all of whom were incredibly experienced. Bouncing ideas off the mentors and being able to engage thoroughly in technical discussion with experienced coders was one of the most useful experiences of my coding career thus far.

Keystone: What have you enjoyed most about your first months with the company?
Robert: Being trusted with high visibility projects such as the product search engine and the CMS, something which in previous employment was reserved for senior coders. Also, the general freedom to plan and develop projects and the friendly working atmosphere.

KCS: What interests do you have outside work?

Robert: I enjoy working on ambitious personal programming projects, improvising on the piano and saxophone, and giving high ranking players a hard time on Halo Reach and Splatoon.

Billy

Billy Peacock – Ecommerce Developer

KCS: What previous work (or other) experiences have helped in your new role at Khaos Control?
Billy: University and studying online helps with the web development side of the job. My experiences as a post man helps me manage the stress. Working in an office in Australia helps with the phone part of the job.

KCS: What have you enjoyed most about your first months with the company?

Billy: Meeting my work colleagues and being part of a software company is what I have most enjoyed.

KCS: What interests do you have outside work?

Billy: Outside of work I am interested in playing music, martial arts and funny movies. I also like to travel!

stoyan

Stoyan Nikolov – Web Developer

KCS: What previous work (or other) experiences have helped in your new role at Khaos Control?

Stoyan: I used to work on a similar position for another company for about 6 years.

KCS: What have you enjoyed most about your first months with the company?

Stoyan: The people at Khaos are very friendly, polite and have helped me a lot to get used to my new duties here.

KCS: What interests do you have outside work?

Stoyan: I like to visit new places (I’ve visited Isaac Newton’s house), museums and just enjoy the nature.

Dave

David Cooper – Junior Web Engineer

KCS: What previous work (or other) experiences have helped in your new role at Khaos Control?

David: I’ve had a lot to learn on the programming side of things since I started with Khaos Control, thankfully I’ve been able to draw from past experiences of sales, purchasing and stock control from my previous work position as a support consultant.

KCS: What have you enjoyed most about your first months with the company?

David: The staff here at Khaos have all been very friendly and welcome which is really nice to see. From a work side, I’ve been enjoying sinking my teeth into the larger scale projects and seeing them come to fruition (such as the wishlist or product review functionality going into the Complete Commerce product.)

KCS: What interests do you have outside work?

David: Outside of work I’m an avid gamer, I enjoy almost any and all games including video games, table-top games, card games, board games and many role-play games too. When I’m not gaming I like to find time to practice playing the piano. I hit grade 6 several years ago and mostly just play for fun now.
