The Khaos Family and our Favourite eCommerce Podcast
We are avid listeners to Chloe Thomas’ eCommerce Masterplan podcast, as you may have noticed from our Twitter feed. Chloe’s show is, in our opinion, the UK’s leading eCommerce Podcast for retailers.
So you can imagine our delight when we learned that Party Packs’ very own Kate Turner was to be a guest star on the show.
Kate and her team in Somerset have been members of the Khaos Family since 2003, so we made a point of tuning in. We enjoyed Kate and Chloe’s conversation about Party Packs’ eCommerce journey so much, that we wanted to share it on our blog.
Our partnership with Kate and Party Packs is a long and successful one, and it’s great to know what we’ve been able to help them on their journey to growth. Party Packs, which sells items for social occasions – like balloons, costumes and napkins – has successfully transitioned into an agile, digital business.
Gone are the days of mail orders and catalogues, as Kate wonderfully describes, despatched from an office with an electric typewriter, a filing cabinet and some TipEx. No longer do they penalise individual customers with an extra delivery charge – something unthinkable in today’s omnichannel world!
Khaos Control has allowed Party Packs to grow into a company with an annual turnover of £5 million, 30 employees, a product range of 15,000 items, which processes up to 11,000 orders a month.
Our partnership with Kate and the team continues to deliver and is testament to our ability to help multichannel retailers create order out of chaos (sic!). Here’s to the next 13 years of success for Party Packs.
Chloe and the eCommerce Masterplan Podcast are interested in hearing from other members of the Khaos Family who would like to take part in the podcast. Please contact us if you would like us to put you in touch with Chloe, or you can contact the eCommerce Masterplan team directly on:
