NetDespatch Partnership goes from Strength to Strength
As a leading-edge ERP system, Khaos Control integrates with a wide range of couriers and parcel data management platforms, to ensure that our customers have a wide range of options at their disposal. We’ve been part of NetDespatch’s partner programme since 2010 and our Khaos Control customers have benefited with seamless integrations with Royal Mail, APC and Yodel over that time – even when those companies didn’t have robust solutions of their own.
We are delighted to announce that we have further strengthened our partnership with NetDespatch, by implementing their latest API, which enables users to produce Royal Mail labels direct from Khaos Control, without having to worry about installing and maintaining additional pieces of courier software.
With Royal Mail rolling out their new 2D barcode requirements in October, this extension of our partnership with NetDespatch could not have come at a better time for Khaos Control customers. The integration provides them with another option – in addition to our existing Royal Mail solutions – that will ensure that they can implement the integration that best suits their business’ needs.
Khaos Control’s new direct NetDespatch integration for Royal Mail offers the following features:
- Instant Royal Mail label printing on standard 6″ x 4″ labels. Labels can be printed anywhere in the world in less than a second.
- A SaaS shipping platform for all Royal Mail labels. No need for additional courier software to be installed on each machine that’s producing labels.
- Constantly updated to ensure that new Royal Mail services are integrated seamlessly and are made available at no additional cost.
- 99.99% uptime and reliability over the last 15 years.
- Seamless compliance with Royal Mail’s new 2D Barcode standard.
Whilst the benefits listed above speak for themselves, our technical team have also endorsed the NetDespatch API (integration tool kit) and the process of integrating with Royal Mail via NetDespatch. They’ve found the team down in Marlow to be responsive, helpful and, allied to comprehensive and detailed documentation of the API, the direct Royal Mail integration has been implemented without any of the scope changes and drama that often occur on projects such as this. So much so, that our Development Team are now recommending NetDespatch’s direct integration to Khaos Control customers ahead of Royal Mail’s own Despatch Manager Online (DMO) solution.
Previous Royal Mail integrations have all suffered from the painful process of installing, setting up and maintaining an additional piece of software in between Khaos Control and Royal Mail, for example DMO. Our new direct NetDespatch integration for Royal Mail means that all of the configuration and maintenance is done in Khaos Control. Once the functionality has been enabled, you simply configure the appropriate Royal Mail services, assign them to your orders, plug in your thermal printer and Khaos Control will handle the rest.
Fulfilling your promises and exceeding your customer’s expectations are vital elements to any successful multi channel retail operation. If you would like to know more about how integrating directly with Royal Mail and how Khaos Control’s partnership with NetDespatch can help your business meet Royal Mail’s new 2D Barcode requirements, please contact our sales team today.
